Fund Binance with P2P (India)
Funding guide only. The live product is the BTC Red Bar Desk. Use P2P to get USDT for spot or futures margin — this is not the trading strategy.
For many Indian traders, direct bank deposits to crypto exchanges are blocked or unreliable. Binance P2P lets you buy USDT from verified merchants using UPI, IMPS, or e-Rupee while Binance holds crypto in escrow.
Steps
- Open Binance → P2P (Buy) → choose USDT and your fiat (INR).
- Filter payment method: UPI, IMPS, or e-Rupee.
- Pick a merchant with a yellow tick, high completion rate (98%+), and enough orders.
- Place the order → pay exactly as instructed → wait for the seller to release USDT (escrow).
- USDT lands in Funding / Spot — transfer to Futures if you will short, or trade BTCUSDT from Spot for longs only.
Safety
- Never release crypto yourself on the sell side until INR is confirmed in your bank.
- Do not chat off-platform or accept “send first” requests.
- Match the payment name to the merchant’s verified name when required.
- Binance P2P charges 0% platform fee on the P2P trade itself (spread is in the merchant price).
Prefer P2P over Convert when you want a transparent INR↔USDT rate. See also why Convert can be a bad deal and INR → USDT for trading.
