TrendRunner operates primarily as a client-side application. Core market data is fetched directly in your browser. An optional free account (email/password or social login via Supabase Auth) is available so your Watch list and Holdings paper-tracker can sync across devices.
We use your browser's Local Storage to remember:
This data stays on your device unless you sign in. It is for paper tracking and research — we do not place trades on your behalf.
If you create an account and sign in, TrendRunner stores your Watch list, locked coin IDs, Holdings paper-meta (including multi-lot entries), and followed-suggestions ledger in a durable Supabase portfolio table when available (with auth metadata as fallback) so they can be restored on another device. We do not store exchange API keys, balances, or trade execution credentials.
In order to provide real-time market data and logos, your browser may request third-party public APIs (such as Binance, DefiLlama, Alternative.me, and public icon CDNs). Authentication is handled by Supabase. These services may collect standard web analytics data, such as your IP address, according to their respective privacy policies.
Some links on our platform, specifically trading and registration links leading to cryptocurrency exchanges, are affiliate / referral links (for example Binance ref=TRENDRUNNER). If you click these links, the destination exchange may place a tracking cookie on your device to attribute any subsequent account creation or trading activity to TrendRunner. New Binance accounts created via our referral may receive a fee kickback from Binance. This does not result in any additional cost to you versus using Binance directly.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date.
